TECHNOVA - Xiaomi has introduced the REDMI Pad 2 9.7 4G, a new tablet designed to support a wide range of activities, from studying and working to entertainment and content creation.

According to Xiaomi Marketing Director Andi Renreng, today's younger generation, especially Gen Z, leads a highly mobile lifestyle while constantly exploring their interests and creativity.
To meet these needs, the REDMI Pad 2 9.7 4G comes with cellular connectivity, allowing users to stay connected, learn, create content, and engage with their communities anytime without relying on Wi-Fi.
The built-in SIM card slot enables users to access the internet directly through a 4G mobile network without using a smartphone hotspot. This makes the tablet more convenient for people on the go, whether they are streaming videos, attending online classes, reading e-books, downloading learning materials, or playing games with a stable connection powered by a Qualcomm LTE modem.
The REDMI Pad 2 9.7 4G features a 9.7-inch 2K display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, delivering sharp visuals and smoother scrolling. The display is also certified by TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light, Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly, providing greater eye comfort during extended use.
Powering the tablet is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, built on a 6nm process, which is designed to deliver responsive performance for multitasking, productivity, and gaming. Storage can also be expanded by up to 2TB via a microSD card, giving users ample space for apps, photos, videos, and documents.
The device is equipped with a 7,600mAh battery, which Xiaomi says can support all-day use on a single charge. It runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, offering seamless cross-device features such as document sharing, call continuity, and Google's Circle to Search. Measuring just 7.4mm thick and weighing approximately 401 grams, the tablet is designed to be portable and comfortable to use throughout the day.
The REDMI Pad 2 9.7 4G is available in Graphite Gray and Silver. It is priced at Rp2,899,000 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rp3,099,000 for the 4GB + 128GB model.
Customers who purchase the tablet between July 7 and July 31, 2026, will receive a complimentary REDMI Buds 6 Play. The tablet is available through Xiaomi's official online and offline sales channels.
